Apply for CareCredit or ChaseHealth Advance (on our home page).  They are both companies that offer medical credit card for use at veterinary offices, as well as human specialty medical offices (orthodontist, pain clinics, etc.). * When your pet is here for a procedure requiring general anesthesia we like to be as safe as possible.  We strongly recommend pre-surgical blood screening for every pet, no matter how old they are.   We have postponed surgery in seemingly normal, healthy young pets due to their blood test results.
Your pet's vaccinations should be up-to-date at least one week prior to putting them under general anesthesia for any procedure for two main reasons.  1)  Surgery tends to stress the immune system.  Vaccinating an already stressed immune system really isn't a good idea.  2) IF they have a reaction, was it because of the vaccine(s) or something else that was administered during the surgical procedure?   If you would like to have them done that same day we will require you to sign a release form stating so.
After the doctor reviews their blood test results we set them up with:
  1. EKG
  2. Blood Pressure
  3. Pulse Oximeter
  4. Temperature Probe
  5. Respiration Sensor
  6. Gaymar Water Heating Blanket
  7. Bair Hugger Warming Device
  8. Isoflurane Gas Anesthesia
  9. All of our surgical packs are sterilized for each and every patient

Dental cleanings are more than sedating your pet and knocking off the calculus.  Our dentals are performed by the doctor with an assistant and include all of the above plus:
  1. Dental Charting (making proper notations of each tooth that has a problem)
  2. Manual Scraping
  3. Ultrasonic cleaning above and below the gum line
  4. Fluoride Polishing
  And if needed:
  1. Dental X-rays
  2.  Extractions, using specialized dental elevator instruments
  3. Oral surgery, such as a flap where an incision is made in the gum line to expose the root(s) and sutured close, therefore not causing any further damage to the surrounding teeth's roots
  4. High Speed Dental Drilling
  5. Root Canals
  6. Consil Bone Grafting
After the healing period is over people are always amazed at how much better their pets feel.
They really had no idea their life was being affected so negatively in the first place, due to bad teeth or gums.  Think about it...if your teeth were in the shape of your pets', how would you feel?
